Happily married for 14 years and living the American dream. I married my best friend and am blessed enough to be the mom to 2 beautiful girls. Kiya, home from Ethiopia in May of 2009 and Katie, home in August 2012 from Korea. Life doesn't get much better than this.

  • August 23, 2012--Leave for Korea
  • August 14, 2012--TRAVEL CALL
  • July 31, 2012--Emigration Permission Approved
  • July 5, 2012--Emigration permission submitted
  • December 21, 2011--Received legal documents from Korea
  • August 13, 2011--I171h arrived
  • August 10, 2011--USCIS fingerprints
  • July 26, 2011--Referral acceptance paperwork on it's way to Korea
  • July 18, 2011-- REFERRAL--IT'S A GIRL
  • May 10, 2011--OFFICIALLY WAITING again
  • May 9, 2011--paperwork done; waiting to be officially on the list
  • March 29, 2011--started the paperchase for Korea
  • March 22, 2011---began making the switch to South Korea
  • July 27, 2010-- Dossier approved
  • July 19, 2010-- Mailed Dossier to CHSFS
  • November 25, 2009--Officially waiting
  • November 3, 2009--mailed application part 2 to CHSFS
  • October 6, 2009--home study update
  • August 10, 2009---on hold until November
  • July 31, 2009--mailed application to CHSFS

Peanut's Adoption Timeline

  • September 15, 2009--received COC
  • July 31, 2009--mailed COC application
  • July 29, 2009--Readoption hearing--done
  • May 15, 2009---HOME FOREVER
  • May 7, 2009--Travel date!!!
  • April 3, 2009--Court date- PASSED
  • January 6, 2009--REFERRAL! It's a Girl!
  • March 11, 2008--Dossier sent to Ethiopia
  • February 28, 2008--I 171H approval from CIS
  • Feb. 21, 2008--CIS Fingerprints
  • January 22, 2008-- Dossier approved/officially waiting
  • January 10, 2008--Homestudy Approved by CHSFS
  • December 2007--Homestudy completed
  • November 2007--Application turned in
