7 days! Oh my goodness. This time next week Kiya is 1.
I can hardly believe it is here. I still have a lot to do to get ready and we are keeping it low key. Thank goodness the house cleaners are coming on Tuesday so I can check that off the list.
We will celebrate with cake and balloons, etc on Thursday. So after we cook a 20lb turkey with all the fixings with a little help from family, out comes the Princess Birthday cake and ice cream.
We have her outfit all picked out and camera batteries are charging. Gifts still need to be wrapped but that will happen. Even though I am sure she is really only going to want to play with the wrapping paper and bows.
On Sunday, we are just hanging out the 3 of us. The hope is to make it to church and say some special prayers for Zinash and just enjoy our family. There will be pancakes since Kiya LOVES pancakes and I am pretty sure we will still have cake and ice cream left.
I am also going to have an extra box of tissues available as I am pretty sure I am going to cry. My little Peanut is growing up and this momma is excited and a little sad all at the same time.
