Guess what???

My new favorite # is 26!

As stated many times before things are slowing down so this might be my number for a while and that is okay. In fact 26 is actually my favorite number.

Huge congrats to those that have accepted referrals this week. There have been lots of boys and lots of siblings. We are hoping and praying these families get really quick court dates so that they make it through court before closure.

It was nice to see us move up another spot. I was a little down today as I talked to my home study SW and it looks like we are going to have to update our home study AGAIN! We did it once for the domestic, had to update it for the change to international and now come November we are due up again. We were hoping this wouldn't happen but it is REALLY unlikely that we will travel in November or early December so the state of WI needs a current home study on file. More paperwork and yet another pointless doctor's appointment. Our study doesn't technically expire until January but with new background checks that can take 4 weeks or longer and with the time it will take our SW to update it she is going to send us the packet in November. Oh well, I know this paperwork is worth it.
