Sorry I have been quiet this week. It has been a LONG week at a job I don't care for but will deal with and I just shockingly haven't had a lot to say.
There is still no news in adoption land. We are all going stir crazy. We just have to keep telling ourselves that things will happen when they are supposed to. A similar slow down seems to happen each year at this time so we just need to breath and support each other which is a whole lot easier said than done.
We are hopeful that next week we will start seeing referrals and we can move off of #26 on the unofficial list. I am so over that number...
In other news, we are going to the Brewers playoff game on Saturday. This is their last chance to stay in the playoffs since they lost the first two games so hopefully we win. I have put the first coat of shellac on the patio furniture and am waiting for it to dry. Tomorrow I will sand it and put on coat #2. It is supposed to rain on Sunday so we shall see what happens from there. The good news though is that once this is done, I get to start the mural :)
Starting the mural is going to be very therapeutic for me. I find much comfort in painting and to be painting for our little one will be that much sweeter. I can't wait. I will be taking photos through out the process and will post them here.
Other than that we are just chugging along...
