Today is World Aids Day. I am by no means an expert on the subject but for a great read about how you can help, you can read this, posted by a fellow blogging mom adopting from Ethiopia.

So if praying is your thing, please take a few minutes today and say a special pray for people around the world afflicted with HIV or AIDS, for their caregivers and for those researching ways to develop a cure for this terrible disease.
If shopping is your thing go RED. Look for products that give back, a few good examples are GAP RED items, Hallmark RED cards, or go to Starbucks during this holiday season a buy a special RED drink as they will be giving 5 cents of each RED drink sold to the Global Fund.

Hehehehee..I can't believe you mentioned Starbucks! I think we should advocate for a local campaign with unnamed coffee co. for World Aids day next year! Wouldn't that be a GREAT project to launch locally? I'm serious. You know I am.
