My Wish

Well as promised here is the return of Thursday song day. I have posted a wide variety of songs over the past few months and it occurred to me that I have never posted the one song that I consider to be my adoption theme song. So today, I am going to share that song with you. I have made it the first song on my mini-ipod on the right if you turn up the volume you can hear it. The song is by Rascal Flatts and it is called "My Wish."

"My Wish"

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
But more than anything, more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

So I hope you enjoy the song. I know I do every time I hear it and when I do hear it I always stop and think about my little one. Are they born yet? Is their first mom making a really tough decision? Is the nanny at the care center feeding them right now? I don't know the answers to any of these questions but it has occurred to me lately that my little could possibly be in the care center right now or on their way there shortly. I pray for their first family and promise them that their little one will always know how much they loved them just as they will always know how much we love them.

I should start thinking about listening to country music! Oh, thanks for the blog tip, it worked.
