That is a loaded question. I want to say yes but I am not sure that is possible. The bags are packed (pictures to come tomorrow) and I am so ready to be a Mom full time yet in some ways I feel like I am not ready.
Physically, I will be at a very high elevation and will try to ward off altitude sickness with lots of water and taking time to get adjusted.
Mentally, I am a basket case right now. I keep forgetting where stuff is and what I did with things. In fact while writing this I forgot which bag I packed my sandals in so I went up and checked....
Emotionally, I am ready to be a Mom but I am not sure I can prepare myself for all of the emotions that are about to hit me. This will be the most emotional journey of my life and I need to be fully present and absorb it all. I can't really predict how things will go and what I will feel. One thing for sure is I packed A LOT of extra Kleenex.
I can't believe we are this close. In less than 48 hours I will be on a plane and on the way to my baby girl. Every time I stop and think about that it brings tears to my eyes. My life is about to get flipped upside down and I couldn't be happier about it.

Hello Cathy,
I am so excited for you. Thanks for sharing on your blog. You're a great writer! I hope to see some posts from Ethiopia.
Love,
Cheryl
So excited to hear the news. Email if you can!!!
This is my favorite post of yours so far. Something about the way you wrote really captured the emotional importance of this step in the journey. It's like you are on the side of a cliff and you are about to take the most amazing dive of your life. It also brings tears to my eyes to picture you holding your daughter. Please post while you are there! Congrats friend!!!!!!
Theresa
I'm so excited for you. The whole trip amazing. Pretty much everything made me cry - but they were 99% happy tears.
Don't forget to pack Tylenol PM or some other type of sleeping pill for on the plane.
Oh, and blogger doesn't work in ET. you have to e-mail your posts to your blog, but you won't be able to access your blog while there. For whatever reason, ET blocks blogger & blogspot.
I can't wait to see pictures of your little girl in her mama's arms!
Unreal. I am so excited for you Cathy. You've waited a long time for this, enjoy every moment.
xoxo,
YEAH! So happy for you! I will be thinking of you this next week and a half! Have an amazing time, can't wait to see pics once you are all home and settling in.

I am so excited for you!!! Enjoy the trip of a life time, and take a million pics for us!!!
It sounds like you are "as ready as you'll ever be" which is basically: ready.
!!!!!!!!!!
Are you going to write one more post before you take off or is this it??
OMG!!!
This might be it!!
Have a safe flight and maybe you can "twitter" some updates from ET?? There was another family that did. Perhaps you should look into it, I don't think it's complicated and you can do it from your phone I believe.
Safe travels!! Post as soon as you get back! What date are you scheduled to be back?
Cathy,
Just keep breathing and enjoy every little moment! The best advice I got before traveled and the advice I whole-heartedly give...check your expectations at the door, and just go with it whatever the moment brings...you will be nothing short of amazed.
Safe travels and I can't wait to see pics of this little peanut!
